  2. So glad you stopped by, Beth. Yep, he loooooves branches. Apparently the bigger the better :D He's a little terrorist (maybe not so little), but we love him anyway. To death :)

You should join WW! This is my first week, although I'd heard of it before. You have some great images to share related to your book, too--would love to see them :)

    1. Thanks for the visit, Hilary. Haha--I understand :) Dogs are a big commitment, in both time and energy; like any pet, they change our lives. I'm glad you have dogs around to "borrow" from time to time--the happiness they provide is priceless.

    2. Hi Guilie, Thanks for coming by to www.thestyishstudio.com on Wordless Wednesday to make a comment about Happy Day at my school! Just wondering, have you read one of my favorite books: My Life in Dog Years by Gary Paulsen? You would love it. It will make you laugh and make you cry.

    3. Hey Cheryl :) I haven't read that one, but I've heard of it. Next time I'm in the civilized world (i.e., places where bookstores exist in some kind of variety) I'll look for it. Thanks so much for the recommendation!

      P.S. -- Loved your blog :)

  4. All my dogs, past and present, were/are rescue dogs. No other dogs love their humans half as much.

    1. Good for you, Friko--indeed, rescue dogs are special in many ways, although I'm not sure I agree with the love part... Some of the most powerful bonding I've experienced with dogs has been with pups born at home who never knew the street or hunger or anything except pampering and kindness. But dogs, like humans, do come in all sorts of flavors :)

      Thanks for the visit!
